The Bayonne School District recently announced it will offer Pre-K3 for the 2020 to 2021 School Year.
The program will provide instruction based on the reopening plan approved by the state. Currently, the Bayonne Board of Education approved three plans for school reopening, favoring virtual-only instruction.
If the virtual-only plan is rejected by the state, the district will use the hybrid plan using in-person and virtual instruction.
To be eligible for the Pre-K3 program, children must turn 3 on or before October 1, 2020. There are 168 spots available for 3-year-old Pre-K.
The district will offer free full-day Pre-K3 programs at three locations: Preschool Playhouse at 625 Ave. C; Community Day Nursery at 591 Broadway; and the Jewish Community Center at 1050 Kennedy Blvd.

Selection for Pre-K3 will be through a random online lottery from August 3 to 10 at 4 p.m.
