Summer Sounds by the Bay and Maskarade postponed

Due to inclement weather, a number of outdoor events in Bayonne have been cancelled for Aug. 12.

2020 Summer Sounds by the Bay musical event featuring the Large Flowerheads that was scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, at 7 p.m. has been postponed.

It has has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 2, at 7 p.m. on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park.

On August 19, The Voodudes will play at 7 p.m. at the park.

On August 26, Bobby Bandiera and Jim Babjak of The Smithereens will rock out.

Maskarade postponed

Also postponed is Maskarade: Outdoor Dining and Entertainment, hosted by the Bergen Point Merchants Association. The event will be held on Aug. 19.

Broadway will be closed from 5th Street to 7th Street starting at 5 p.m. on Aug. 19. Restaurants along the closed-off section will expand seating into the street.
