BARTULOVICH, GEORGE J.

A funeral mass was offered Aug. 3 at St Josephs of the Palisades Church for George J. Bartulovich, 87, of North Bergen. He passed away at his home on July 29. George was born in New York City on March 12, 1933. He grew up in West New York where he attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Memorial High School. Upon graduating High School he served two years in the Coast Guard before working construction for Local 12 for the next 40 years. After retiring from Local 12 he spent 15 years working security for the New York Yankees. George dedicated his life to his family, faith and friends. He was an active member in his community. He donated his time as coach for many years in the North Bergen Recreation program as well as being a commissioner on the North Bergen Library Board. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Michael, his older brother Joseph and his younger brother Edward. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Lucia (Dadaian), His son Joseph and daughter Lauren. His son-in-law Frank Hanley and granddaughters Jillian and Kayla.
