Liberty Savings Celebrates Grand Opening of New Branch in Bayonne

Now in its 69th year of service, Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union has announced the doors to its newest branch are officially open in Bayonne, New Jersey.

Liberty Savings chose its new location at 1347 John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne to meet the community’s changing needs. Currently, the US Census Bureau ranks Hudson County as the fastest growing county in the nation. Adding a branch in Bayonne strategically ensures that Liberty Savings can provide all residents of this booming area the opportunity to benefit from low loan rates and flexible savings products.

The City Line Branch also offers members and visitors free parking and an exceptional customer service experience.

“While the City Line Branch may be new, Liberty Savings has a long history of proudly serving Hudson County,” said Maria Solorzano, Liberty Savings President/CEO. “We were founded by Jersey City educators and remain committed to playing an active role in our community and in the lives of our members. Even though many access our services online or through the Liberty Savings Mobile App, we know it’s critical to have brick and mortar branches in the most convenient locations possible.”

This focus on people over profits plays an active part in how Liberty Savings continues to grow. Now with over $90 million in assets and more than 22,000 members, Liberty Savings is excited to see its impact reach even greater heights with its City Line Branch. The best strategy to improve one’s financial standing is a holistic approach to borrowing, saving, and spending.

When it’s time to boost spending power, Liberty Savings has a dedicated loans by phone department ready to advise and get members the funds they need fast. For those in search of an affordable way to own a car, it’s critical to choose the best lender. Liberty Savings auto loans are always competitive and the personalized lending structure means they can be flexible enough to meet a wide range of budgets.

Whether someone is on track to be a first-time home buyer or considering a move, today’s low rate mortgages make any stage of home ownership more manageable. Liberty Savings can even help existing homeowners tap into the equity of their home for smarter spending. This type of home loan, or HELOC, operates like a line of credit for renovations or any other expense large or small.

Leaders of the credit union know that their mission extends beyond the doors of their three branches in Jersey City, Union City, and Bayonne. Liberty Savings actively supports its surrounding community with contributions to local nonprofit organizations, charities, and scholarship programs. Liberty Savings firmly believes that when individuals have the opportunity to stand on stronger financial footing, the whole community benefits.
