FRANCHI, THOMAS M.

Private funeral services have taken place for Thomas M. Franchi, 79. He passed away Aug. 9. He was born in Bronx, New York and raised in Staten Island, New York. After his marriage to his wife Josephine Ginesi, he moved to Jersey City where they raised their three children. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired postal supervisor for the East Rutherford Post Office. Thomas is survived by his wife Josephine of 56 years and three children Denise Franchi and grandson Thomas, Michael and his wife Susan and grandson Justin, Deborah Schinnagel and her husband Philip and grandson Philip and granddaughter Gabrielle. He is also survived by his brother Gerald (Archie) and his wife Barbara and his sister-in-law Karen. He was a uncle to his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Agnes Franchi and twin brother Terrance. Services arranged by the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, Bayonne.
