A funeral mass was offered Aug. 12 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church in Hoboken for Patrick G. Pantoliano, 80, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away suddenly in the presence of his family while vacationing in Wildwood on Friday, Aug. 7. Patrick was employed by the Hoboken Board of Education for 40 years retiring as the city’s Custodial Director. Patty was a proud Yankees fan, enjoyed cooking, vacationing in Wildwood Crest, and spending his free time with his friends at Monroe Buddy’s and the Company K. Social Clubs in Hoboken. A devoted family man Patrick will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine (nee Casazza) and his cherished children Diane Mastropierro (Frank), Patricia Canonico (Joseph), and Patrick Jr. (Ruby). A great joy in his life were his grandchildren Angelica (David), Francesca (Frank), Jillian (Correy), Zachary, Patrick, and Danny. Pat was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first great-grandchild Leo Patrick. He was predeceased by his parents Christina (nee DeCicco) and Frank Pantoliano, endeared brother Richard Pantoliano. Also surviving are Pat’s sisters-in-law Carol Pantoliano and Florence Casazza, many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.
