PARISI, DAMIAN

A funeral mass was offered Aug. 12 at St Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Damian Parisi, 72, of Weehawken. He passed away at his home on Aug. 6. He was cared for by his family. Born in Jersey City to the late Frank and Isabella Parisi, Damian was a lifetime Weehawken resident. He served his country and was a proud and honorable Army combat veteran of Vietnam. His love of sports colored his whole life as he was involved in various sports in grammar and high school. It even extended to a love of sports cars. Damian worked as an Elevator Mechanic at the Museum of Natural History New York City. Survivors include his sister Anna Parisi, his aunt Elizabeth D’Gennaro and uncle Frank D’Gennaro and his wife Fanny. Also surviving are many devoted cousins.
