Synagogue Welcomes Community to Lincoln Park Celebration

Congregation B’nai Jacob, a Jersey City egalitarian synagogue, will celebrate the second day of Rosh Hashanah, on Saturday, September 19 in Lincoln Park, West Side Avenue, Jersey City.

Services begin at 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Tashlich, honey and apples commence at 12 P.M. This is a free event.

The public may join Congregation B’nai Jacob for the entire service or come at noon for honey and apples! Come one, come all. Families welcome. Location and parking details available upon registration. RSVP: roshhashanahday2@gmail.com

This is a picnic style event; please bring folding chairs or a blanket. Social-distancing will be observed.

The High Holy Day of Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year and a period of reflection known as the “Days of Awe.” Come for a service of prayer, live music and shofar blowing, led by Rabbi Bronwen Mullin.
