On Tuesday, Sept. 15, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Jersey City resident Bili Crisostomo-Hernandez, 23, on charges that he allegedly sexually assaulted a 28-year-old woman who was walking in the area of Ogden Avenue and South Street in Jersey City at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Crisostomo-Hernandez has been charged with Sexual Assault, a second-degree crime, Criminal Sexual Contact, a fourth-degree crime; Hindering, a third-degree crime; and Providing False Statements, a fourth-degree crime.
Police arrested Crisostomo-Hernandez at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit just after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday without incident.
The Prosecutor’s Office has filed a detention motion, which is currently scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21.
Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit for the investigation and arrest.

The above charges are merely accusations. Crisostomo-Hernandez is presumed innocent until proven guilty
