Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Bayonne, according to Captain Eric Amato.
Officers responded to West 28th Street on a report of shots fired.

The investigation confirmed that a man,38, had been shot numerous times and was being treated at Bayonne Medical Center.
The actor fled the scene prior to police arriving. According to Amato, more details will be released at a later time.
“This incident remains under investigation; therefore I will not comment on it in detail,” Amato said.
