Hoboken mourns Terry LaBruno
Terry Cappiello LaBruno died at age 63 in the presence of her family on Sept. 21. A Hoboken native, she was a former councilwoman and educator.
“It’s with unimaginable sadness that we share the passing of our beautiful mother and our father’s bride,” wrote her daughter Christina LaBruno on social media. “The brightest light, the warmest heart, the biggest smile. We will love her forever, and miss her always. …The outpouring my mother received the last three weeks was overwhelming, but not surprising. We will always be grateful.”
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to “St. Peter’s Prep/Terry’s Mission Fund,” 144 Grand St. Jersey City, New Jersey 07302
