The Hoboken City Council will hold a special virtual meeting on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. to discuss proposed amendments to the Public Works Garage Site Redevelopment Plan, specifically, the 83 Willow Avenue subarea.
It will also discuss a potential redevelopment agreement with 83 Willow Ave. Apartments LLC.
The site is at the intersection of Newark Street and Willow Avenue, and is an existing surface parking lot; the subarea does not include the Hoboken Public Works Garage facility.
If the amendment is adopted by the council, the city would then enter into a redevelopment agreement with 83 Willow Avenue Apartments, LLC to build an 11-story, 42-unit residential building with ground-floor retail and 72 parking spaces.
The meeting will feature a presentation of the 83 Willow project by John Nastasi.
The Public Works Garage Site Redevelopment Plan amendments can be viewed on the city’s website by clicking here.
Members of the public interested in the proposed redevelopment project are encouraged to attend.
It can be streamed live on the city’s Facebook page.
