She would spend many days at the beach at her Canoe Brook Lake home building priceless memories with children, family, friends and numerous doggies. She was a founding member of the Trumbull “Player Readers” group which put on Broadway plays using her neighborhood friends as the actors. She never learned to swim well herself, but she was very active in seeing that her five children were involved in the lake sports and saw the many trophies brought home to her from the competitions. During her severe and lengthy illness, she received moral and religious support from The Hospice of Piedmont, The Reverend Mario Calabrese and Mrs. Gwennette M. “Becky” Turner, for which she was deeply indebted. Services arranged by Teague Funeral Service, Charlottesville, Va.
