GENNARO BARILE

Funeral services were held Oct. 26 for Gennaro Barile, 88, of Secaucus. He passed away Oct. 22 at Hudson Regional Hospital, Secaucus. Born in Jersey City, he lived there most of his life until moving to Secaucus in 1994. He was a retired construction worker with Local 325 – Jersey City. He was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean War. Gennaro enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved to spend time with his family, go fishing and hunting and growing the most perfect vegetables in his garden. In his younger days in even made wine. He is the beloved husband of MaryAnn (nee: Scocozzo), loving father of Joseph Kulesa & his wife, Toni, Anthony Kulesa & his wife, Jeanne, the late Maria Barile, Gennaro “Sonny” Barile, Jr. & his wife, Dawn & of Domenick Barile & his wife, Justine, cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 adorable great-grandchildren. He was one of 16 siblings, he survived only by his last sister, Dolores Fiume. Services arranged by the Biondi Funeral Home, Nutley.
