DANIEL P. LOGAN

Private funeral services have been held for Daniel P. Logan, 70. He passed away Oct. 18. He was born to the late Robert Logan Sr. and Catherine Logan (Green) on Nov. 24, 1949, in Jersey City, where he resided for most of his life. Danny grew up in Union City in a large Irish-Catholic family, as one of ten children. Danny was a graduate of Union Hill High School, Class of 1970. He was employed as the manager of a transport company that operated throughout the tri-state area. Much of the company’s success and growth was due to Danny’s dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented personality. He was highly respected and well-liked by his customers and colleagues, alike. Danny was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He enjoyed watching old western movies starring John Wayne and loved listening to music by Janis Joplin, Jethro Tull and Jimi Hendrix. Danny was a devoted uncle and adored by his nieces and nephews, all of whom affectionately referred to him as “Unc.” Danny is predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Annette Logan (Rubino), and their faithful four-legged companion, Duke. Danny is also predeceased by his siblings, Dolores McArdle, Joseph Logan, Terrance Logan and Donald Logan. He is survived by siblings Robert Logan Jr., Ronald Logan, Gerald Logan, Susan Logan and Stephen Logan and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Danny will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to share in his presence. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
