Residents struggling to put food on their tables this holiday season, take heart. “Give Thanks Bayonne” is donating Thanksgiving meals to more than 200 families.

“Give Thanks Bayonne” is a collective among various businesses and organizations that recognizes the growing number of citizens needing food assistance.

Fiscally sponsored by the Bayonne Youth Center, participating organizations include Black in Bayonne, Bridge Art Gallery, Dimentman Law Group, Little BoHo Bookshop, NAACP Bayonne, United We Change, Bakery Bro!, Bayonne Batter, Innovative Education Consulting Services, Flournoy Gethers VFW Post #7470, Pride of Bayonne Lodge #461, Pride of Bayonne Temple #266, Omega Lodge No. 60, Studio 31 Music School, Joy Full Zone, and BCB Community Bank.

To donate, visit BlackinBayonne.com. Residents can donate $35 toward feeding a family a “Complete Thanksgiving Meal” package that they can cook themselves, or donate $10 toward a “Grab-n-Go” hot meal for an individual.

Pickup times and dates will be provided. Recipients must be registered to receive the meals.
