Funeral services have been held for Juana Perez, 96, of Jersey City. She passed away on Nov. 3. She was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on April 1, 1924. The family moved to New Jersey in the 1960s, where Juana was employed as a seamstress. In the 1970s, Mrs. Perez moved to Jersey City, where she resided until the time of her demise. Mrs. Perez was a devout Pentecostal Christian where she attended Bethsaida Christian Church for over thirty years. She leaves to cherish her legacy; one son, Ramon Rolon, and his wife Iris Rolon; granddaughters, Awilda, Milagros and Judith; 13 great- grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
