Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise is now under quarantine after his Chief of Staff Craig Guy tested positive for COVID-19.
Guy learned yesterday that he had tested positive after beginning to show minor symptoms on Dec. 11 and undergoing PCR testing.
The county executive was administered a rapid COVID-19 test yesterday which was negative, and he is currently awaiting additional test results.
Guy is currently isolated and is continuing to work remotely, and the rest of the county executive’s staff is also undergoing testing, quarantining, and working remotely until further notice.
“The County Executive is in good spirits and he and his staff are following all public health guidelines and protocols,” states a press release.
