PATRICIA ALBERS

Private funeral services have taken place for Patricia Albers, 71, of Jersey City. She passed away at Christ Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 9. She was 71. A lifelong Jersey City resident, Patricia attended St. Michael’s High School in Union City. Upon graduating in 1967, she began her career at McGraw Hill in New York City as a secretary and administrative assistant. She retired after working at McGraw Hill for 47 years. Patricia was lifetime fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants and fond of traveling to the Jersey shore. She was an aunt to her extended nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Richard Walsh. She is survived by her sister Eileen Polazzi and husband George; brother Michael Walsh and his wife Debbie; nephew David Polazzi, his wife Melisa, and her great nephew Macnamara and great niece Tess; nephew Daniel Polazzi; and niece Kathryn Walsh. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
