J. HARRY SZELAZAK

A funeral mass took place Jan. 6 at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, for J. Harry Szelazek, 74. He passed away Dec. 28, 2020 at home in Jersey City. Born in Germany to the late Lily and Clemens Szelazek, Harry came to the United States when he was a year old. Harry lived all his life in Jersey City. He was a Graduate of St. Anthony’s High School and St. Peter’s University, both Jersey City. He was a clerk for the United States Postal Service retiring after 20 years in Kearny. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 266. Harry held a Pilgrim Degree, and served as Administrator, Past Governor, and Past State President of the Loyal Order of Moose. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou (Evans) Szelazek. He is survived by many dear friends. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
