Thank you Hoboken!

Dear Editor:

We would like to thank the residents of Hoboken for helping our local families this holiday season. We could not do this without you. With all the community support, we provided hundreds of toys and pajamas to local children in need.

We are also extremely grateful for the support and dedication from the following community partners: Big Fun Toys, Jet.com, Little City Books, & Washington General Store.

While we had many generous donations this holiday season, some highlights of this year’s drive are listed below.

Extra Special thanks to:
– Victor, Carly, Jass, and Madeline at Big Fun Toys Hoboken for conducting their Annual Big Fun/ HFA Toy Drive Kickoff Party
– Raakhee Mirchandani, who organized friends and family to donate pajamas, toys & gift cards
– Luna Cascetta of Baker12 who generously donated all proceeds from a weekend sale of her delicious baked goods
– Donations from Brianne Dashevsky Kathy, Sean, and Charlie Knipe, Jessica Meyers, Passarelli family, Salon Phoenix & Schoenfeld family
– Over 50 Anonymous financial donations, including donor who provided a very generous donation for $2,500.
– The many donors of the wonderful toys dropped off at Big Fun Toys, Little City Books & Washington General Toys.

We are so glad to be part of this wonderful, caring community. Thank you!

As part of this Holiday Drive, The Hoboken Family Alliance also donated $3000 of our funds to the Toy drive and Pajama/Book drive. All items we gathered have been distributed to local families, including Family Promise, In Jesus’ Name Charities, and NJ Child Protection and Permanency (formerly known as DYFS), Women Rising and York Street Project. We would like to express our appreciation and thank each and every one in the community who have made our toy and pajama drive a success!

Thank you for helping us continue our mission to make a difference in our community. We hope you have a happy & healthy 2021!

Warmest regards,

The Hoboken Family Alliance Board of Directors
