JOSEPHINE CATANIA

A funeral mass was offered Jan. 9 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church for Josephine Catania, 85, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away in the home of her birth on Sixth Street on Jan. 5. Josephine was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Peter (2014). Her warm smile and gleaming eyes captivated all who knew her. Surviving are two daughters Gina Roder and her husband Alan, and Mary Perry and her husband Vito. Josephine was predeceased by a brother and sister Victor Vicoli and Isabel DeAngelis. Also surviving are her grandchildren Thomas, Raquel, Kenneth, and Ricky Roder and Michael and Gabriela Perry. Along with a host of nieces and nephews. Her final gift her only great grandson Nolan Anthony Roder. Services arranged by the Failla McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.
