Magic Show

A magic show will take place at 16th Street Park on Feb. 27, weather permitting, for ages 3 through 7.

Spring Training
“Spring Training” Baseball Clinics will be held in March at Veterans Stadium for ages 8 through 13, weather permitting.
Pitchers and Catchers Clinics will be on March 27. Ages 8 and 9 will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. Ages 10 through 13 will meet from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Infielders and Outfielders will be on March 28. Ages 8 and 9 will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. Ages 10 through 13 will meet from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

A Foul Shooting Contest will be at 11 a.m. on March 7, weather permitting, for Bayonne children in the first through eighth grades.

Register at City Hall, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Food bank open

The Highways Food Bank at 155 Broadway is open Monday through Friday, except holidays, from noon to 3 p.m.

When coming to the food bank for the first time, bring a photo ID for all adults in the household and birth certificates for children under 18. Proof of address and proof of current income are required.

Bring reusable bags.

‘Parent & Me Carpentry’

An introduction to carpentry, for kids 4 through 6 and their designated adults, will be held outdoors at the 56th Street Senior Center, weather permitting, Feb. 13.

Registration deadline is Feb. 5. Fee is $15 per person, City Hall, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Session I: noon to 1 p.m.; Session II: 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.; and Session III: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

In-person municipal court sessions remain suspended. For virtual court proceedings, visit https://www.bayonnemunicipalcourt.org.

Defendants can make payments for parking, traffic and certain non-traffic matters at NJMCdirect.com. They may mail payments or place them in a drop box at City Hall, 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Youth Outdoor Kickball League

A Youth Outdoor Kickball League will be held for Bayonne kids Pre-K through 8th Grade.

Games will on Saturdays and or Sundays, weather permitting, at Veterans Stadium, in February and March, starting Feb. 6.

Registration deadline is Jan. 29. Fee is $25 per player.
