DALE JOSEPH BROOKS

Funeral services were held Jan. 19 for Dale Joseph Brooks, 58, of Union City. He passed away Jan. 1, at his home. Born in Paterson to the late Harry Brooks and Carol Petrole, Dale lived in Union City with his wife of 22 years, Ivelisse Brooks. Over the years, he was an educator for multiple towns including Union City, Paterson, and Cliffside Park. He loved working with his students. He also was greatly dedicated to his town of Union City. Survivors include his wife, Ivelisse, sister Robin Marra and her spouse, Gerard, niece Lauren Maccaquano and her spouse, Joseph, niece Chelsea Marra, nephew Travis Marra, and niece Brooke Marra as well as two great nephews, Adrien and Leo.
