HENRY J. LYNCH

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 26 at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Henry J. Lynch, 93, of Manalapan, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center on Jan. 21. Born in Jersey City, Henry was a graduate of Dickinson High School. He proudly served his country in Germany as an MP during World War II, escorting prisoners to the Nuremberg Trials. Henry worked for Western Electric for more than 35 years before retiring. Husband of the late Margaret (née Shaughnessy). Father of Thomas (HCSO) and his wife Zaiea, Ellen (ret. JCPD) and her husband Pete Hutto and Henry Lynch. Grandfather of Ryan, Kellyanne and Sean.
