ALICE BAXMEYER

Private funeral services have been held for Alice Claire Baxmeyer, 92, of Weehawken. She passed away Dec. 16 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City on July 4, 1928, to the late Frederick William and Minnie Sophia Bodeman, Alice was a long time Weehawken resident. In her younger days she worked as an Executive Secretary before becoming a homemaker. Alice was predeceased by her husband William Henry Baxmeyer. Survivors include her devoted sons, William Jeffery, Robert Wayne and Barry Arthur Baxmeyer. Also surviving are her six grand and six great-grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
