Flag Football Clinic and League

A Flag Football Clinic and League will be held by Joy Full Zone for ages 8 through 12, running from March 27 through April 17 on Saturdays, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Hudson County Park Field 3.

Sign up during clinic hours or online.

The Combine and draft pick will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 24. The season begins May 1 at 9 a.m., running for eight weeks. It’s not required to participate in the clinic to participate in the league.

The clinic is $50, the league $100. For both, the price is $115. Register at JFZSports.com.

Blood Drive

A blood drive sponsored by Mayor James Davis and the New Jersey Blood Services at the Bayonne Museum at 229 Broadway on Feb. 18 from 1 to 7 p.m. Make an appointment at nybc.org/newjerseydrive.

Donors must eat and bring nybc donor ID card or ID with name and photo. Antibody testing available.

Outdoor Arts & Crafts

The Division of Recreation will hold Outdoor Arts & Crafts classes at the 56th Street Senior Center in April and May, for Bayonne children ages 7 and older.

Three sessions: 10 a.m., 11 a.m. ,and 12 p.m., $25 per child.

Registration deadline is April 9., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  at City Hall.

Parking notice

Due to the recent snowstorms, the Bayonne Board of Education opened public schoolyards for residential parking until further notice.

Private, religious schools and houses of worship are not involved.
