A funeral mass was offered April 12 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hoboken for William Michael Culhane, 74. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 4. A proud son of Hoboken, Bill grew up on 12th Street developing a passion for sports, competition, and camaraderie. Bill was one of a kind who had a huge zest for life, family, and friends. He always had a smile on his face, an animated story ready, and a deep laugh from his heart. Bill was an avid sports fan, captain of the baseball team at Hoboken High, and was a standout youth baseball coach. Bill’s career on Wall Street spanned 45 years led by his personality, hard work, and loyalty. Bill is reunited with his father John, mother Muriel, and brothers Jack and Robert. Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Deborah, beloved son Chris, dearest daughter-in-law Jennifer, beloved daughter Erin, grandchildren Jack, Quinn, Katherine, Morgan, Will, and Maggie. His children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life, now 6th generation kids of Hoboken. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
