Sinatra is gone, but not forgotten

Dear Editor:

May 14, 1998. It’s been 23 years since entertainer Frank Sinatra left us but still his musical legacy endures as well as his films, CDs and concerts. So, in my yearly remembrance, please join me and music luminaries Tony Bennett, Peggy King and the All-Star Jazz Trio, archivist Anthony DiFlorio III, author Will Friedwald, Bronx’s own Tribute Band talent promoter/musician Billy Jon Coogan and the millions of Sinatra fans around the world as we we salute the immortal Frank Sinatra and his unforgettable legacy of music and motion pictures. We miss you, Frank.
