Hoboken City Hall reopens by appointment only

Hoboken City Hall officially re-opened to the public by appointment only for various city services.

Space is now available for city staff to meet with residents in the city hall groundfloor conference room.

Visitors will need to make an appointment with the respective department in advance.

For a list of departments and contact information, visit http://www.hobokennj.gov and click the “Departments” tab in the upper righthand corner.

Walk-up service will not be available. All guests to city hall are required to wear masks while inside.

The Hoboken Transportation Department will use a designated appointment system.

The Hoboken Parking Utility will reopen to in-person customer service by appointment only from  8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Monday through Friday.

Customers must book in-person customer service appointments at www.hobokennj.gov/resources/hpuappointments or with a customer service representative at 201-653-1919 during office hours. Confirmation emails will be sent to customers with appointment instructions.

Walk-ins will be accepted only if there is an available appointment slot at that time.

According to the city, the new appointment system for HPU will reduce wait times at the customer service window.

The city also relaunched the HOP bus service.

The Blue Hop and Green Hop will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. while the Red HOP will operate Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
