HCCCollege Offers Virtual Information Sessions for Apprenticeship in Advanced Manufacturing

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will hold a virtual information session on the CareerAdvance USA Apprenticeship in Advanced Manufacturing program. The next session will be on Saturday, July 31 at 10 a.m.

The session will explore the “earn-while-you-learn” apprenticeship opportunity available to individuals 17 years of age and older who wish to pursue a career in advanced manufacturing.

Students in the program will acquire the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level employment in the manufacturing industry, with opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials.

Advanced manufacturing is a constantly evolving industry, with exceptional career opportunities for programmers, lathe programmers, set-up operators, machine operators, manual lathe machinists, and machine technicians. The average Machine Operator I salary in New Jersey as of February 2021 is $38,117, but the range typically falls between $33,524 and $44,268.
