They were dispatched to 8 Roosevelt Terrace at 10:59 a.m. on a report of smoke alarms. Due to numerous 9-1-1 calls, it upgraded to a fire call.
Units found heavy smoke and fire on the side of 8 Roosevelt Terrace, using several handlines to extinguish the blaze, which was declared under control at 11:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported. A fire investigation is underway, but the cause does not appear to be suspicious.
