The art of print comes to Guttenberg

One day fair will offer affordable works

Guttenberg Arts Gallery will host Print Riot 4, a print fair composed of printmakers and print shops from around the country, Sunday August 22, at Guttenberg Arts, 6903 Jackson St., from 1 to 8 p.m.

This one day print fair will feature affordable prints and works of art for sale by Cannonball Press, Is Projects, Anna Hasseltine, Jesse Shaw, Striped Light, Paper Crown Press, 50/50 Press, Hoofprint, Celesete De Luna and Metztli Press.

In conjunction with this event and Guttenberg Arts’ current exhibition Swallow by Wendell Jeffrey, Guttenberg Arts will release a print by Jeffrey. The print is a chine-collé lithograph editioned to 10 and will be available for purchase on the 22nd.  For more information about the participating artists and print shops please visit www.guttenbergarts.org/printriot4

Print Riot 4 is sponsored by Belero Snort Brewery and will provide craft beer during the event. Guttenberg Arts is free and open to the public by appointment only.
