A Funeral Mass was offered August 18 at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City, for Patsy M. D’Errico, 94, of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 12. Patsy was a lifelong resident of Jersey City, a parishioner at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church and served honorably in the United States Army in World War II. Patsy worked in the manufacturing industry at Western Electric, Kearny Works in Kearny, New Jersey. Patsy enjoyed automobiles and the auto industry, household renovation projects, playing card games with his brothers-in-law, and reading about the benefits of future technology. He loved to make movies of family weddings, celebrations, and games as well as toy animation. Patsy was a true gentleman who was very kind and generous with his time, and always ready to help others. Patsy was the beloved husband to his late wife, Rose, loving father to his late son, Joseph, and beloved son to his late parents, Joseph and Marie (DiNardo) D’Errico, and loving brother to his late brothers John, Anthony, and Frank D’Errico. Patsy was the cherished father to Marie and her husband Robert Harris, and to Patrick and his wife Linda D’Errico. He was the loving brother to his sister Annette Horsfield and her husband Joe, caring grandfather to Patrick and Lauren, and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear caregiver, Derwin, who cared for him for many months. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Jersey City.
