Jazz at Hamilton Park

The world’s most famous jazz institution, Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC), comes to Weehawken by way of its Swing In The Streets series. Through these concerts, JALC spreads the joy of jazz to various outdoor venues throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

This concert will feature a quartet of rising stars from the world-class Jazz Studies Program at William Paterson University.  These young musicians – Ryan Hernandez (guitar), Alex De Lazzari (tenor sax), Griffin Fink (bass), and Hank Allen-Barfield (drums),  have already played with renowned players, including Bill Charlap, Vincent Herring, Paquito D’Rivera, Christian McBride, Joe Lovano, and many others.

This concert will take place on Sunday, September 26 at 4 p.m. at Hamilton Park, located on Boulevard East at Duer Place in Weehawken, New Jersey.

Public transportation is provided by NJ Transit bus #165, #166, and #128 which stop at Hamilton Park. For those who choose to drive, street parking is available.

The Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center, Inc. (HRPAC), a New Jersey nonprofit organization, presents this summer long series of open-air concerts free of charge to the public.
