Jersey City men charged with alleged sexual assault of Bayonne girl

The four men allegedly met the teenager after she ran away from home

Four Jersey City men have been charged and arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a Bayonne girl, 14, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez. They allegedly met the girl after she ran away from home earlier this month.

Nasire Williams, 26, has been charged with second-degree Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree; and Criminal Sexual Contact, a crime of the fourth degree. Williams was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just after 5 p.m. on Sept. 16.

Elijah Sparkman, 21, has been charged with second-degree Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree. Sparkman was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just after 1 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Deveon Palms, 19, has been charged with second-degree Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree. Palms was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just after 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Xavier Feliciano, 23, has been charged with second-degree Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree. Feliciano was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just before 1 p.m. on Friday, September 17.

Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department for the investigation and arrests.

The above charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
