A one-alarm fire over the weekend has displaced two residents, according to Fire Chief Keith Weaver.
On Oct. 9 at 5:54 p.m., the Bayonne Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 11 O’Brien Ct. Arriving fire companies found a working fire on the first floor of the building.
Firefighters deployed three hose lines to extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to adjacent homes. The fire was placed under control at 6:46 p.m.
There were no injuries reported. Two residents of the building are temporarily displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
