Thambiaiyah Sivakumaran, 66, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, Sivakumaran came to Canada in 1984. There he stayed for 3 years before moving to the United States in 1987. Making his home in New Jersey, he has resided in Bayonne for the last 33 years.
Sivakumaran was a successful Chartered Accountant for over four decades working around the globe. Operating as the Vice President in several leading Investment Banks in New York City’s financial district, he took up the role as Director of Finance at Credit Agricole CIB.
He is the beloved husband of Benita Sivakumaran, doting father of Drs. Joseph and Dharshini Sivakumaran, and cherished father-in-law of Janan Rajaratnam.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4-8 PM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home-Bayonne. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at 9:30 AM at St. Henry RC Church-Bayonne.
