Ms. Ngin earned her Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science from the College in May. As a student she earned Dean’s List recognition and served as the Student Government Association Director of Finance. She was also a member of the HCCC cohort of the Goldman Sachs Local College Collaborative, and the HCCC Achieving the Dream Student Leader Strategy Team. Ms. Ngin worked throughout her entire HCCC experience as a Health Insurance Producer at UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Data Entry Technician at Gourmet Home, and Billing Specialist at Bronx Foot Care.
Passionate and hard-working, Ms. Ngin was deeply involved in HCCC activities and made connections throughout the College. Her advocacy and leadership led her to spearhead the initiation of a transfer partnership between HCCC and New York University. She also participated in the conversations and planning of a program for incarcerated persons to earn an HCCC degree.
Currently, Ms. Ngin is attending Rutgers University where she is double-majoring in Business Analytics Information Technology, and Finance.
Ms. Ngin relates that she is excited and ready to work as the Student Alumni Representative on the HCCC Board of Trustees, and to continuing the transformative impact the College has on students and the community.
