Sculptor Carolyn D. Palmer puts the finishing touches on Hoboken's latest piece of public art

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken will unveil a roughly 6-foot-tall bronze statue of Frank Sinatra by sculptor Carolyn D. Palmer, an internationally recognized sculptor whose works are in museums, public venues, and private collections around the world.

The unveiling will take place on Sunday, Dec. 12, the 106th anniversary of the singer’s birth, at 1 p.m. at Sinatra Park, on Sinatra Drive between 4th Street and 5th Street.

Expected to attend will be Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla, Councilman Michael Russo, Artist Carolyn D. Palmer, Tina Sinatra, and actor Joe Piscopo
