Dear Editor:
As a retired college professor who also spent five years working as a therapist and counselor, I want to share with you and your readers the best question that I have ever heard a therapist or counselor ask of a patient, client, or “consumer.” Someone might find it to be helpful.
“What parts of yourself DON’T you love or like that allows you to continue to let this abuser and predator to continue to abuse you and mistreat you?”
I have actually seen some people give this a lot of thought and consideration and then get rid of the abuser.
P.S. I am a volunteer for and with an organization called “Times Up Now” which fights against “Sexual Harassment” in all parts of our society.
