A Bayonne man has been charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team have arrested Stanley Feliz, a 29-year-old of Bayonne, on charges relating to the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.
The victim, who is now 17, was supplied marijuana when the crimes were committed on multiple occasions between June 2019 and June 2020. Feliz is charged with second-degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The sexual assault arrest warrant for Feliz was executed in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 23, at his residence on Washington Parkway.
Following that arrest, the Bayonne Police Department conducted a court authorized search warrant of the residence in connection with an unrelated narcotics investigation. Feliz was subsequently charged with multiple narcotics offenses by the Bayonne Police Department.
Prosecutor Suarez credited the Special Victims Unit, the Bayonne Police Department, and the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team for working collaboratively on the investigations and making the arrest.
The above charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
