Residents who are registered to vote are now able to cast their ballots for mayor and council members or commissioners in the three municipalities.
Meanwhile, the incumbent mayors and their tickets headed by Union City Mayor Brian Stack, also a state Senator for the 33rd Legislative District, and Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner are running unopposed.
Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7. Early voting will wrap up on Sunday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Regular polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day on May 10.
Bayonne’s early voting will take place in the municipal chambers at City Hall at 630 Avenue C.
In Weehawken, early voting will take place at Tower Plaza, 4100 Park Avenue in mobile trailers located at the rear of the parking lot alongside the Arricale Field fence.
There are 10 early voting locations in Union City, including: 6th Street and New York Avenue, 7th Street and Central Avenue, 16th Street and New York Avenue, 15th Street and Summit Avenue, 28th Street and New York Avenue, 2714 Summit Avenue, 34th Street and New York Avenue, 36th-37th streets and Bergenline Avenue, 47th Street and Palisade Avenue at the side of the pool, and 43rd Street and Bergenline Avenue in front of Pollo Mario.
