West New York residents are invited to a free Homebuyer Workshop, Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez and the Board of Commissioners have announced.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, June 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the West New York Public Library at 425 60th Street.
Listen to housing experts from Bank of America discuss the basics of home buying.
Topics to be talked about include: the benefits of owning a home; how to review your credit and decide how much you can afford; types of mortgage programs including a 3 percent down payment mortgage with lower-cost mortgage insurance; steps to becoming a homebuyer, including pre-qualification; and more.
