Concerts have returned to the spectacular setting of Lincoln Harbor Park on the
Weehawken waterfront. Next up is the Danielle Nicole Band on July 13.
She was a founding member, lead singer, and bass player of the internationally
acclaimed Blues/Rock band Trampled Under Foot. In 2015 she stepped out on her own
with her debut album, Wolf Den.
Nicole’s next CD, “Cry No More,” made a huge statement, receiving a 2019 Grammy
Nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album. That same year, she received two
Blues Music Awards for Bassist and Female Contemporary Artist, along with multiple
Blues Blast Music Awards and three Independent Blues Awards.
Danielle Nicole’s distinctive and inventive bass work resulted in her becoming the first
woman to receive a nomination for the Blues Foundation 2014 Blues Music Award for
Best Instrumentalist – Bass. It was a groundbreaking achievement, the result of years of
hard work honing her skills through intensive touring and roadwork. While her voice
draws comparisons to artists such as Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt and Etta James, her
style and tone are all her own.
The Danielle Nicole Band features co-founder Brandon Miller on guitar and vocals and
world-renowned drummer, Go-Go Ray.
All concerts for the series take place at Lincoln Harbor Park, located just north of the
Chart House restaurant, directly on the west bank of the Hudson River in Weehawken,
New Jersey. The concert is weather permitting.
Public transportation options include NJ Transit bus #158, the Hudson Bergen Light Rail,
and NY Waterway Ferry to Lincoln Harbor. And for those who choose to drive, free
parking is available.
The Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center, Inc. (HRPAC), a New Jersey Not-
For-Profit, presents this summer long series of open-air concerts free of charge to
the general public. Concerts are family friendly. Audience members are asked to
bring a lawn chair or blanket and picnicking is permitted on the lawn. For more
