Weehawken Recreation offers Tennis Camp at the Waterfront Complex

Second and third sessions of the program run from the end of July through mid-August

Weehawken Recreation’s Tennis Camp is set to offer its second and third sessions and the end of July through mid-August. 

Mayor Richard Turner and the Weehawken Township Council, and Township Manager Gio Ahmad invites residents to participate.

The program is $40 per session, and runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Session One just ended on July 21.

Session Two will run on July 26, 27, 28, and August 2, 3, and 4. Session Three will run on August 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18.

For children ages 5 to 6, the camp will run from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. For children 7 to 9, the camp will run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. And for children age 10 to 13,  the camp will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Clinic size is limited to eight per class on a first come basis. It is recommended to bring a racquet, the camp will have a limited number on hand. 

Tennis shoes are required. Additionally, those wishing to participate in the camp must provide proof of residency.

Registration is done in-person as classes are filled on a first-come basis. Only checks or money orders are accepted, made payable to Weehawken Township.
