Secaucus is collecting school supply and used uniform donations

The deadline for donations is August 19

School supplies are being collected by the town for students in need before the school year starts.

Secaucus is collecting supplies for students in need before they head back to school in September.

The Secaucus Department of Social Services is currently collecting school supplies for children in 1st to 12th grade.

The town is asking for the following school supplies: backpacks, notebooks, composition books, pencils, pens, Elmer’s glue, rulers, erasers, scissors, and crayons. 

The donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 145 Front Street. There will be a special drop off day on Saturday, August 13.

The deadline for donations is August 19. For more information, call 201-330-2014.

The town is also asking for donations of slightly used school uniforms. Those donations are also being collected at 145 Front Street fro Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
