On Friday, August 12, 2022, Jersey City Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, held its annual Summer Internship awards ceremony and luncheon with a team of 28 college and high school students who worked and were mentored for six weeks at the hospital.
Michael Prilutsky, President and CEO of Jersey City Medical Center, congratulated the students for their contribution to various departments at the hospital, including the operating room, emergency room, environmental services, Human Resources, Behavioral Health and the JCMC Foundation.
The culminating event included presentations from select participants who spoke about their learning experiences and insights. A professional development component of the summer internship included weekly presentations by the students to hospital staff.
JCMC’s Human Resource team, led by Mary Cataudella, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer led the coordination of the program.
