The Bayonne Division of Recreation Bike Club will host its annual “Moonlight Ride” at the end of September, Mayor James Davis and the Division of Recreation have announced.

The Bike Club, which began in August 2020, will have its third annual ride at night through Stephen Gregg Park, on Saturday, September 24, at 7:30 p.m. The club will meet at the lower level of the 48th Street Entrance, in front of the bike path.

Glow sticks will be given out to the first 50 who register online. Register at register.capturepoint.com/CityofBayonne. There is no registration fee to ride  with or join the Bike Club.

Bicycle lights and bicycle spoke lights with different colors and patterns are available at different online sites. The Bayonne Police Department will be escorting the ride and all the riders.

“We are looking forward to a fun and exciting ride through the park,” stated Pete Amadeo, Superintendent of Recreation. “We hope to light the night on our bikes!”
