West New York will hold a food drive for residents on September 14, moved from the original planned date of September 13.
Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez, Commissioner Margarita Guzman, and the West New York Board of Commissioners continue to take steps to help ensure residents have access to the food they need.
In conjunction with the Hudson Country Department of Health and Human Services, the town is holding another food drive. The food drives are usually held every other week on Tuesdays, this being an exception due to the weather.
The food is first come, first served, while supplies last. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be maintained according to the town.
The upcoming food drive is on Wednesday, September 14 at 12 p.m. The drive will take place at the West New York Little League at 53rd Street, between Park Avenue and Broadway.
